Installing
- Run the downloaded
AIShorties-Setupfile. - Read and accept the terms, then choose whether you want Start menu and desktop shortcuts.
- The installer finishes setting everything up for you, including the speech-recognition files (about 1.6 GB), which takes a few minutes. Keep the window open until it says it is finished.
- Open AI Shorties from the Start menu and make your first Short.
If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”
This is a standard SmartScreen message for newer programs that Windows has not seen many times yet. It does not mean anything is wrong. Click More info, then Run anyway. If you would rather check first, the installer is only ever offered from this website.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Not available for Windows in S mode.
- Around 4 GB of free disk space (the speech-recognition files are the large part).
- An internet connection while installing, and when checking for updates.
- No graphics card is required.
After the trial
After 7 days the app asks for a licence key. Buy a licence for $19.99 (one-off). Your key arrives by email within a few minutes and you paste it into the Licence window in the app.
Updates
AI Shorties tells you when a newer version is available. Download and run the new installer. It updates your existing copy and keeps your licence.
